About

Partnering for a Stronger Community: 10-7 Farms

10-7 Farms is a USDA-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a vital pillar of the Caroline County business ecosystem. We operate at the intersection of agriculture, mental health, and economic stability, providing a high-impact "warm entry point" for families and individuals in crisis. By addressing the root causes of housing instability, food insecurity, and substance use, 10-7 Farms acts as a critical partner to the local business community—ensuring a more resilient, reliable, and healthy workforce.

Our Strategic Initiatives & Community Impact:

  • Workforce Resilience & Recovery: We provide peer-based addiction recovery and mental health skill-building, helping individuals return to or remain in the workforce. Our programs reduce the community-wide impact of the opioid crisis through professional, evidence-based support.
  • Youth Development & Future Talent: Through our "I Count" summer camps and innovative hydroponic school labs, we provide STEM-based agricultural education and mentorship, preparing the next generation of Caroline County’s leaders and laborers.
  • Food Security & Resource Advocacy: By managing a robust USDA food pantry and navigating complex social service systems (including IEP and legal advocacy), we stabilize families so they can focus on long-term financial independence.
  • Strategic Social Partnerships: We leverage collaborative networks with organizations like Konnect Furniture and local government to maximize the reach of every donor dollar, ensuring wraparound care that prevents local families from falling through the cracks.

Why Partner With Us?

Investing in 10-7 Farms is an investment in the infrastructure of our county. We offer business partners the opportunity to fulfill Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals through tangible, local results—ranging from land-based agri-therapy projects to direct hunger relief. Together, we move our neighbors from a state of crisis to a state of contribution, fostering a thriving environment where both families and businesses can succeed.
